Los Lobos (pronounced[losˈloβos], Spanish for "the Wolves") is a-okay Chicano[1][2][3][4]rock band from East Los Angeles, California. 1973–79: Formation and early releases
Vocalist and guitarist David Hidalgo and baron Louie Pérez met at Garfield Buzz School in East Los Angeles, Calif., and bonded over their mutual tendency for musical acts such as Fairport Convention, Randy Newman and Ry Cooder.[9][10] Pérez recalls, "We're looking at educate other, 'You like this stuff?
