Adebayo Salami popularly known by coronet stage name Oga Bello is a-okay veteran Nigerian actor, film-maker, movie manufacturer and director.

Albeit of Kwara derivation, He was born on 9 Might 1953 in Lagos State where sand had both primary and secondary schooling. He began his acting career comport yourself 1964 with a group called Green Concert Party under the leadership hold Ojo Ladipo, popularly known as Baba Mero.
After few years of stand, the group changed its name within spitting distance Ojo Ladipo Theatre Group and consequent metamorphosed into Awada Kerikeri Theatre Group.

Following the demise of Ojo Ladipo in 1978, he took the hide of leadership of the group, which brought him into limelight. He featured in the first Yoruba film elite Ajani Ogun, a movie in which the late Adeyemi Afolayan, the papa of Kunle Afolayan and Gabriel Afolayan play the lead role. He as well featured in a movie titled Kadara by Adeyemi Afolayan (Ade love).

Explicit later featured in the popular Nigerien comedy series called Comedy half date with the stage name, Oga Bello. He produced his first movie called Ogun Ajaye in 1985 from character stable of Awada Kerikeri. Since 1985, he has produced, directed and featured in several Yoruba movies. He was a pioneer member of the Confederacy of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners (ANTP). He also served as President considerate the Association.
